Foods That WILL Help You Lose Weight

If you want to lose weight certain programs will have you believe that food is the enemy, a
necessity that we must endure as little as possible. But such programs are both dangerous and
wrong – food is actually a powerful ally in our weight loss efforts.

In fact certain foods can be a massive help as we strive to lose weight. They can help ensure that
we are losing weight, that we get all the nutrients we can in a way that will help our bodies develop
as we want them to. And they do this in a way that doesn't endanger our health, which is not
something that certain weight loss programs can claim.

Which Foods Will Help You Lose Weight?

>> Cucumber

If this isn't part of your efforts to fill your belly then it should be! Did you
know that the cucumber is over 90% water, and that because of that it actually takes more
calories to digest cucumbers than it actually gives you? A powerful weight loss tool indeed!

>> Spicy food

Look to spicy food like peppers and chillies if you want to give your
metabolism (and your food) a good kick. These foods boost our metabolism so that we are
burning more calories, for longer, than we would be if we didn't eat them.

>> Vegetable Soups

Look for the low fat/low calorie vegetable soups to help you lose weight.
The new theory n weight loss is 'calorie density'. Our stomachs don't care how many
calories we eat, they get hungry on how full they are. So low calorie, high filling foods like
vegetable soups are perfect.

>> Chocolate

Sorry, not all chocolate. But small amounts of dark chocolate have been shown
to reduce your appetite, perfect for those who are trying to diet off the pounds.

>> Meat
Lean meat anyway. Protein keeps you fuller for longer, so make sure it takes up at
least 30% of your diet. We suggest eating turkey and chicken breasts (and eggs).

This is just a small number of foods that can help you lose weight for further reading check out this huge 101 tips to help you lose weight article
